Like many others in the edtechblogosphere (we really do need a better word - suggestions?), I am signing off the blog for a few days of rest. If I get any amazing ideas in the meantime, I’ll write them down on some loose bits of paper then try to reassemble them afterwards. Have a great [name of your winter faith based holiday], and I look forward to some more blog reading and writing in a few days.

Hi Rob,
for some of us the holidays we are celebrating are summer holidays. Your readers (and listeners) encompass both hemispheres.
Have a restful and relaxing break and thanks for your work.
cheers,
Jo

Good point, Jo. Being in Saskatchewan, Canada during December sometimes makes me forget that it’s still summer somewhere else - that’s definitely a cheerful thought to get me through the colder days during the winter.

Feeling really sorry for you in Saskatchewan . Here in Melbourne the forecast top temp for today (Dec 31st) is 42 degrees, that is 107.8. It’s apparently some kind of record for Melbourne (if it gets there). Yesterday it was 39. The web really brings differences in things like seasons and weather to life, I just love that, and getting to know people in other countries and cultures.

Oh well, its not so bad here. Its a balmy -6 degrees Celsius, and we are in the midst of a foggy spell. It is lovely to look at with all the frost on the trees.
Still, I wouldn’t mind just 20 minutes in Melbourne! :^D
Happy new year, Jo.
